10DLC vetting guide Readiness checklist

Campaign description

[Brand legal name], doing business as [public brand name], sends recurring SMS/MMS messages to customers and website visitors who explicitly opt in to receive texts from [brand]. Messages may include [discounts/offers/product launches/event promotions/loyalty rewards/account updates/order notifications]. Recipients opt in through [website form/checkout checkbox/text-to-join/paper form], and each program includes STOP and HELP instructions. Messages are sent only to subscribers who consented to receive text messages from [brand].

Message flow / call-to-action

Users opt in to receive text messages from [Brand] by [describe opt-in method]. On [URL or location], the user enters their mobile number and checks an optional, unchecked SMS consent box. The disclosure next to the phone-number field states: "By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring text messages from [Brand] at the mobile number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. View our Terms at [terms URL] and Privacy Policy at [privacy URL]."

If keyword opt-in is used, users are instructed at [URL, sign, advertisement, or screenshot location] to text [KEYWORD] to [number]. The keyword advertisement includes the same brand, message type, frequency, rates, STOP, HELP, privacy, and terms disclosures.

Privacy policy SMS disclosure block

SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers who help us deliver our SMS program, but they may use that information only to provide services to us and not for their own marketing.
